The RG features a high temperature Alloy 600 sheath  -328° to 1200°F (-200 to 650°C)RTD with good resistance to vibration.  The wire wound RTD element is encased with high density Magnesium Oxide (MgO). Fiberglass or FEP lead wire is available or added protection with stainless steel overbraid and stainless steel armor.  The transition is a heavy duty ½” diameter and potted with 500°F epoxy.  The armor is potted to eliminate fittings from becoming loose in applications where vibration is present.  Sheath diameters are available in .125”, .188” and .250”.
